Children from Columbus Ohio help fight Neophyte plants in Freiburg, Germany

A spectacular event was the cooperation between the Bachpaten Freiburg-Rieselfeld and "Cultures of Europe": 31 children and youths between 11 and 15 years of age, coming from Columbus (Ohio, USA), participated as "Youth Ambassadors" during their trip through Europe in removing neophyte plants. They liked the task and did a great job in removing many plants. Besides this they have learnt lots on the problems that are connected with neophyte plants at the creeks and rivers of Europe.
